Fan bus heading for Charlotte

By Rebecca Wyatt, OU Web Writer

Grizzlies who want to cheer on their team as they take on the University of North Carolina in the first round of the Division I NCAA Tournament can get on the fan bus headed for Charlotte, N.C.

Student Congress is sponsoring the bus to the game, which will leave at 11 p.m. Thursday, March 17, for the 12-hour drive to Charlotte. The cost is $25 and includes the bus trip and ticket to the game. The game ticket will get students into game one, which begins at 12:30 p.m. and is with No. 8 seed Minnesota vs. No. 9 seed Iowa State, as well as the Oakland game against North Carolina, which will begin 30 minutes after the Minnesota/Iowa State game ends. The bus will head back to OU immediately following the OU game.

Students can sign up for the fan bus beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at the Center for Student Activities Service Window.
